Hsuan Kong Fa Temple is decorated with various unique woods, elegant stones, stalactites, and wood jade fossils, creating a garden with a profound Zen style. Buddhist verses can be seen throughout the courtyard, complemented by the beauty of the exquisitely carved temple architecture, giving viewers a peaceful mental strength. It has won first place in the online popularity vote for Taiwan's 100 Religious Landscapes.
Hsuan Kong Fa Temple is a spiritual practice place, with blue tiles, green pines, unique stones, and a collection of monuments, different from traditional Chinese Buddhist architecture. The approximately 2-hectare park includes the Path of Life, the Water Moon Cloud Mysterious Holy Pool, Monuments, and the main hall of Hsuan Kong Fa Temple. Inside the 400-meter-long garden walkway of the Path of Life, there are pine and cypress bonsai and plants in a variety of forms, as well as resting pavilions for worshippers to take a break; and a giant stone with Buddhist verses on it reminds people not to forget to keep a good mind at all times. The fossilized wood area on the side has silica wood (also known as wood jade fossils) that has been transformed into shapes over hundreds of millions of years, with colorful and varied patterns, and from time to time there are worshippers lingering in the area, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the temple and the scenery of the surrounding mountains and rivers.
