In recent years, a trend of painting rural villages has quietly spread into the alleys of the Shilin Community in Danei, Tainan. Located near Danei Totoro Painted Village, "Danei Store" officially opened on December 21, 2019. Danei Store not only displays avocado-related products but also handmade avocado creations by community residents and travel information around Danei. It is also a must-visit photo spot for internet celebrities. As the largest avocado-producing area in Taiwan, the Shizilai Community Development Association's "Avocado Cultural and Creative Workshop" actively promotes avocado culture, purchases inconspicuous avocado fruits to solve the problem of excess production for fruit farmers, and develops specialty products such as avocado seed noodles and avocado seed tea. They also use local materials to promote Teng Gen Zi grass handmade paper, handmade books, and other unique craft products to drive local industrial marketing.
