Tainan Xinhua Golf Club was planned and developed during the martial law period. In 1967, former legislator Liang Xu Chunju, considering that golf would gradually become a common sport in the future and could cultivate noble character, invited social elites to participate enthusiastically and sign up as initiators. At the same time, thanks to the help of General He Yingqin and other related personnel, the golf club was set up at the foothills of Hutoupi.

In March 1971, the first 9 holes were completed, and in 1978, the last 9 holes were completed and the course became an 18-hole course. Until 1998, the last 9 holes were rearranged and reopened, creating a golf sport trend in southern Taiwan!

Tainan Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in southern Taiwan, only 10-plus kilometers from Tainan City with convenient transportation. The verdant greens of the course and the poetic and picturesque beautiful scenery make playing golf here even more physically and mentally refreshing.
