Taiwan-Fukien Area Historic Monuments". The Temple to the Nankunni Lords is listed as a grade 2 national historic monument.
Cihji Temple of Syuejia Dist., Jintang Temple of Chiali Dist., Jhengsing Temple of Chiali, and Dasian Temple of Guanziling are all listed as grade 3 three national historic monuments.
Dasian Temple of Guanziling has a Grand Hall with a large Japanese style statue of Buddha, which many people crowd to visit. Dasian Temple is situated in Tainan City's Baihe Dist., at the foot of Jhentou Mountain, in the Guanziling Mountains.
These quaint temple buildings, of classical beauty, were formerly called "Jiouyan". Representing one of the nine large national Buddhist sects, this grade 3 national historic monument was the first ancient temple to be built in southern Taiwan.
It was build in the Ching Dynasty, during the rule of Kangsi. It is comprised mainly of the Di Cang Wang Hall, Guanyin Hall, San Bau Hall, and Guanyin Boddhisattva Hall.
The temple is of a Mainland Chinese style, and built differently from most temples. The buildings follow the traditional Chinese architectural style.
