Introduction
The Shilong Forest Ground is located in the Alishan Ridge, Chiayi County.
It features a mysterious subtropical broad-leaved forest that covers more than 30 hectares of land.
The expansive forest ground is above the sea level between 300 and 600-some meters. What truly makes it special is that, every 500 meters above the sea level, there is a stone sculpture marking the height and an explanatory text of the local ecology.
