To strength tourism safety awareness and epidemic prevention concept in the jurisdiction of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Breuer MOTC, with the theme of "Bike Tourism Safety", on March 16th 2022, we invite other government departments and the tourism operators of Greater Siraya Tourism Alliance were invited to jointly sign the "2022 Tourism Safety and Epidemic Prevention Promotion", and took "the governments, industries, and the people's unity" as the promotional purpose to create a high-quality and safe tourism environment in Greater Siraya.
Since 2015, Tourism Breuer MOTC set the third week of March every year as "Tourism Safety Promote Week", to prevent accidents by travel, in connection with domestic tourism environment, the promotion will be strengthened according to six aspects: food safety, accommodation safety, traffic safety, environmental safety, shopping safety, and entertainment safety. We cooperate "Tourism Safety Promote Week" hold Tourism Safety and Epidemic Prevention Promotion, invite other government departments and the tourism operators of Greater Siraya Tourism Alliance to create a safe and happy travel environment. We also arrange gender equality advocacy, CPR, and AED basic life-saving skills teaching in this joint activity, to increase emergency response and rescue capabilities; in addition, we invite the Tainan City Government Fire Department's Second Brigade Guantian Division to promote fire prevention knowledge, promote residential fire alarms, and use residential fire alarms to successfully warn to reduce the occurrence of major disasters.
The director of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration said “Tourism safety is everyone's responsibility”, not only Tourism Safety and Epidemic Prevention Promotion, will also target legal camping areas, Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, bike festival, water safety advocacy, outdoor first aid, fire protection, earthquake safety, and large-scale activity safety to do training courses, strengthen the self-control of tourism safety and improve the emergency rescue mechanism of tourism operators, fulfilling social responsibilities for tourism safety together, and actively create a safe tourism environment. We also remind all tourists that must pay attention to dangerous places when visiting scenic attractions in Siraya, pay attention to travel safety, and cooperate with the implementation of epidemic prevention measures to achieve the tourism safety goal of "happy travel and safe return".
To promote bike tour, Tourism Breuer MOTC hold 2022 “Go Bike Taiwan Riding Certificate”, invite people to ride 16 bikeways in Taiwan, included “Lingbo-Guantian Route”; use APP to record your track and finish the specify conditions, then can get exclusive commemorative certification medal, collect many different certification medal, can attend rich draw activity. Irrigation Agency, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan start to use Chinan Irrigation Channel Canal Greenways on 12th March 2022, it’s one of national greenway, also a longest national bikeway in Taiwan, connect Yulin, Chiayi, and Tainan, this promote activity specially invite Taijian National Park Administration: Visitor Center & Administration Center Park, East Coast National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Bureau, and Wushantou Scenic Area Chianan Administration Irrigation Agency, Council of Agriculture join together, promote national greenway Canal Greenways Bike Route, hope to promote bike tour,
and propaganda the tourism safety of riding bike.
