Your Japanese Party in Guanziling Summer Danjiri Festival Hundreds of people wearing Yukata and celebrating, having chicken and hot spring in Guanziling
“2022 Siraya Summer Chilling to Autumn Festival – Guanziling Summer Danjiri Festival” starts today, July 22nd, at Tang Quan Yosemite Hot Spring Resort parking lot! Along with sounds of drums and gongs, there were 180 people marching into the site. With the theme of Japanese Party, those who signed up in advance won the chance to dress in Yukata and joined the custom parade. A crowd in yellow was filling up County Road 175. The scene was not only similar to the Parade of Disneyland but also provided a Japanese vibe. People who visited Guanziling for the first time were all excited by this parade. Those who own local businesses said this event brings visitors to the restaurants and hostels in this area, proving the charm of their religion “Huo Wang Ye”!
For celebrating the birth of the local religion in the Guanziling area, Huo Wang Ye, Siraya National Scenic Area Administration held “2022 Siraya Summer Chilling to Autumn Festival – Guanziling Summer Danjiri Festival” at Tang Quan Yosemite Hot Spring Resort parking lot, and invited more than 180 people to this ceremony. Taiko Club of Siancao Elementary School at Guanziling, which won 9 times in the Tainan City High School and Elementary School Student Traditional Arts Competition for percussion instruments, opened the ceremony. Besides, there were Japanese traditional dance performers, and people in Yukata marching in the parade made this ceremony vivid!
People who attended the Danjiri Festival had a chance to enter the draw by getting stamps at specific spots. Those who won the lottery all started from the very beginning spots, including volunteer Wu serving for Siraya National Scenic Area, Ms. Lu from Miaoli, and Ms. Liu from Xinhua. They all felt surprised and blessed by Huo Wang Ye. Starting from July 22nd, you can get the 2022 limited edition “Fudo Omori” for blessings of love and health by reaching the consumption threshold at certain hotels and restaurants in this area. Only 1,000 copies have been released.
Director of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration, Chen Neng-Hsu, said, Taiwan is a special island with abundant humanities and diverse natural resources. Taking Guanziling as an example, there are different textures of hot springs from all directions, and the most unique one is the mud hot spring. After the press conference, the event of Danjiri Festival in Guanziling has kept gaining people’s attention and calls to consult the information. President of Tainan City Hot Spring Association, Xian Tang-Lin, mentioned that though soaking in hot springs in winter really comforts body and mind, having hot springs in summer can promote your metabolism. Plus, the special ingredients in mud hot springs can make skin glow! If you’d like to relax and experience an exotic atmosphere, we welcome everyone to visit Guanziling.
