Siraya Go CreCar has ended successfully, with the team from Chiayi winning the Golden Award of NT$200,000.

The Siraya National Scenic Area Administration Tourism Bureau, MOTC, held the 9th "Siraya Go CreCar" on 6th November at Tsou Ma Lai Farm. More than 3,000 tourists attended the event, all dressed in "Fairy White" . We invited the Deputy Director General-of the Tourism Bureau, M.O.T.C., R.O.C., and the director of the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration, along with other guests. The Siraya Go CreCar has become an iconic competition in Tainan since 2014, This year, there were 41 teams, including both experienced teams and newcomers. All contestants gave their best making Tsou Ma Lai Farm vibrant with energy in November!
In 2022, Siraya Go CreCar adopted "Touching Siraya" as the central theme for event design. Five levels were set on a 400-meter-long track. Competitors started from a 2 meter- high platform, then moved on to complete precise shooting, transforming into elf marksman Legolas from The Lord of the Rings. The S-curve was lined with colorful flower walls. In the final level, "The food is so fresh," contestants had to complete precise parking and correctly answer the examiner's questions. To win NT$200,000, contestants
needed to have extensive knowledge about Siraya to dominate the "Siraya Go CreCar."
The judging panel this year consisted of five experienced and professional teachers in the fields of design, machinery, and vehicles. They rigorously scored teams based on creativity, craftsmanship, and team spirit, adding up the challenge scores from each level. The team from Chiayi, inspired by the shape of Huo Wang Ye, overcame many tests and defeated other teams to win the 2022 Siraya Go CreCar Gold Award and NT$200,000. The Silver Award went to a favored team from Tainan, earning NT$100,000, while the Bronze Award, and NT$45,000, was won by the "Yu Shan Warship" team from Changhua for their exquisite design. The top three teams showcased not only exquisite craftsmanship and unlimited creativity but also impressive driving skills, which were crucial for the judges' decisions. Recognizing the limitless creativity of the contestants, the judges introduced a new Jury Award, which was won by a team from Kaohsiung, encouraging everyone to keep dreaming!
Regarding the Siraya Go CreCar, the director of the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration mentioned that the brand has become deeply rooted in the hearts of the people is one of Taiwan's major events. With the support of various players and experts, the "Siraya Go CreCar" will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year, promising to be even more exciting. The event aims to increase local popularity and attract more visitors to Siraya to experience the charm of "Touching Siraya."
Following the successful conclusion of Siraya Go CreCar, the " 2022 Siraya Cycling Activity – Reservoir Cycling" event will be held at the Guantian Visitor Center on 12th to 13th November. Three different routes are planned, along with various performances and a special bazaar on the grassland. There will also be check-in points themed "Alice in Wonderland." We welcome everyone to join the fun in Guantian. More detailed information can be found on the official website and Facebook fan page of the "Siraya National Scenic Area Administration."
