Siraya National Scenic Area Administration Tourism Bureau, MOTC held the 9th "Siraya Go CreCar" today (6th November) at Tsou Ma Lai Farm, there were more than 3,000 tourists on the scene, and they wore the " Fairy White" dress code. We invited Deputy Director General, Tourism Bureau, M.O.T.C., R.O.C. and the director of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration and other guests to joined us. The Siraya Go CreCar has become a iconic competition in Tainan since 2014, there are 41 teams this year, including experienced teams and new faces who are participating for the first time, all the contestants did their best in the competition to make the Tsou Ma Lai Farm full of energy in November!
2022 Siraya Go CreCar takes "Touching Siraya" as the main axis of event design, five levels were set on a 400-meter-long track, competitors must start from a 2 meters high platform, the next step is to complete the precise shooting, and the contestants would transform into the elf marksman Orlando Blue in The Lord of the Rings, the S-curve is lined up with colorful flower walls, in the last level "The food is so fresh", in addition to challenging precise parking, the contestants also had to answer the examiner's questions correctly. If you want to bring back NT$200,000, you have to know more about Siraya, so that you could dominate the "Siraya Go CreCar".
The judging team consisted of 5 teachers this year, the judges had rich experience and professionalism in the fields of design, machinery, vehicles, etc. Teachers will give rigorous scores according to the creativity, craftsmanship and spirit of each team, and add up the level challenge scores. The team from Chiayi won the 2022 Siraya Go CreCar Gold Award, the team took the shape of Huo Wang Ye as the idea, experiencing a lot of tests and defeated other participating teams, and won the NT$200,000, the Silver Award was favored by the judges from Tainan and brought back NT$100,000, the Bronze Award was won by the "Yu Shan Warship" from Changhua because of its exquisite shape, so it brought back NT$45,000. The top three teams not only had exquisite craftsmanship and unlimited creativity, but also their driving skills were important references for teachers' judgment. The judges believed that the creativity of the contestants was limitless, and after discussion, they decided to increase the Jury Award, this award was won by the team from Kaohsiung, and encourages everyone to keep dreaming!
