Join 2024 World Bicycle Day Across Taiwan Activities to experience the fairyland-like Siraya view and the Mountains to Sea National Greenway scenery.

The Siraya National Scenic Area Headquarters of the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, called on over a hundred cyclists to ride today (June 1) for the "2024 World Bicycle Day Across Taiwan Activities". Led by Trust Lin, Deputy Director of the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the participants ranging in age from 11 to 76 years old,successfully completed the cycling feat of connecting Taiwan.
According to Trust Lin, Deputy Director of the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the Taiwan-wide cycling event organized by the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has 46 routes. The route adopted by the Siraya National Scenic Area Headquarters is nearly 50 kilometers long and ranks among the top three in Taiwan in terms of length. The event runs along the multi-functional bicycle path of the Lingbo Guantian Line, which is the primary route promoted by of the Siraya National Scenic Area Headquarters. It also includes sections of the Mountains to Sea National Greenway-Chianan Irrigation Channel North Main Line and South Main Line. Participants can enjoy the Lingbo Guantian scenery and fairyland-like views, and visit various water conservancy projects along the Chianan Irrigation Channel. This unique and exclusive scenery belongs to Siraya in Taiwan. Riding along the irrigation channel and greenway, the beauty of the rivers and mountains, along with greenery on both sides, adds a pleasant feeling to the activity.
Chen-Neng Hsu, Director of the Siraya National Scenic Area Headquarters, metioned that there are other attractions and food around the multi-functional bicycle path of the Lingbo Guantian Line and the Mountains to Sea National Greenway waiting for everyone to explore. These include Lianzhan Rock, Wushantou Reservoir Scenic Area, Yoichi Hatta Memorial Park, Chishan Longhuyan Temple, the Tainan City designated historic site, the Zengwun River Flume, and other unique attractions. Besides local delicacies such as water chestnut meal and water chestnut rice dumplings, there is also Siraya 6G-plum chicken soup, golden wattle chicken soup, bucket chicken, turmeric chicken, coffee chicken, bitter tea oil chicken, and more Everyone is welcome to try them.
The Siraya National Scenic Area Headquarters has held a "TOUCH SIRAYA, TOUCHING TAIWAN" photography exhibition at the Guantian Visitor Center from April 26 to July 31. While enjoying the exhibition, the public can also better understand the unique culture, nature, and richness of products in the Siraya National Scenic Area. During the exhibition, visitors can scan the QR code at the entrance of the Guantian Visitor Center to enter the post.
