In June 2026, the Siraya National Scenic Area Headquarters under the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, launched the highly popular limited-time campaign “Mud Bear Leads the Way — Off to an Enchanted Land!” This summer’s most adorable mobile check-in spot is making its debut. Starting June 13, passengers who ride the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Guanziling Line or Lingbo Guantian Line on weekends can receive one limited-edition Mud Bear magnetic clip, available only while supplies last. This summer, there is no need to fight crowds, sit in traffic, or worry about finding a parking space. Simply hop aboard the Mud Bear bus and enjoy the popular attractions of the Siraya National Scenic Area along the way, setting off on the most soothing summer mini-trip.

For this campaign, Mingo (Park Min-seo) was specially invited to be the first to step aboard and reveal the Mud Bear–themed bus. From floor to ceiling, the entire interior is filled with Mud Bear designs; the cuteness level is off the charts, and the moment she got on board, Mingo exclaimed, “It’s really too cute!” Mingo also takes viewers along as she rides the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Guanziling Line, visits distinctive attractions along the route, and shares the journey with fans through a YouTube video, inviting everyone to discover Guanziling’s hidden charm. After the video is released, an exclusive discount code is also announced, inviting visitors to buy package tickets, ride the bus, and let Mud Bear bring them a little healing along the way.

In addition to the limited themed bus, several value-packed travel packages also launched this June, covering everything from family trips and girlfriends’ getaways to solo travel. Among them, “Embrace the Rural Glow — A Heartwarming Two-Day Earth-Oven Trip” was originally priced at NT$9,180 and is now available for a limited time at just NT$8,399, saving NT$781. The package includes family-room accommodation, four breakfasts, and an earth-oven cooking set for four, making it ideal for families traveling with children. “Just-Right Afternoon — A One-Day Lingbo Mini Trip” is designed for solo light travel: spend the morning unwinding at Jianshanpi Resort, then head to Longtian in the afternoon to enjoy a delicious croissant. For just NT$369, visitors can enjoy a relaxing and restorative trip to the fullest. Other themed packages combining popular attractions such as Houbi, Guanziling, and Wushantou are also available through major channels including KKDAY, QYOU, Travel Expert Website, and Jieli Travel Agency. Visitors who present their package tickets at participating partner shops can also enjoy exclusive offers, bringing food, drinks, fun, and travel together in one trip.

Director Hsu Chu-lung of the Siraya National Scenic Area Headquarters said that this year, Mud Bear has been specially created as the most adorable ambassador for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Guanziling Line and Lingbo Guantian Line, with the hope that travelers will feel the surprise and joy of the journey from the moment they board. The bus interior incorporates local elements such as Guantian water chestnuts, hot-air balloons from the Siraya Forest Life Festival, Guanziling hot springs, and urn-roasted chicken, making travelers feel as though the entire Siraya National Scenic Area has been packed onto the bus. Passengers on the Guanziling Line can visit the century-old Guanziling Hot Spring Area, known for its famous mud hot springs; savor the well-known local delicacy of barrel-roasted chicken; and stroll along Jingliao Old Street, which is filled with a nostalgic atmosphere, to experience the charm of a simple small town. Those riding the Lingbo Guantian Line can enjoy the lake and mountain scenery of Wushantou Reservoir, the Japanese-style architectural complex at the Hatta Yoichi Memorial Park, the broad grasslands of the Guantian Visitor Center, and popular attractions such as the Longtian CHA CHA Cultural Heritage Education Park. This summer, set off with Mud Bear and explore the Siraya National Scenic Area in the most adorable way.
