As part of the "Siraya Summer Chill" series, the Fudo Myoo Theme Street Parade kicked off in Guanziling on August 7! Distinguished guests from the Executive Yuan, the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Administration, MOTC, the Tourism Bureau of Tainan City Government, elected representatives, and local hot spring tourism associations joined the celebration. More than 200 attendees, dressed in Fudo Myoo-themed headpieces and specially designed yukata, transformed the entire hot spring town into a vibrant summer festival scene.

The parade was jointly led by the wildly popular IP Fumeancats, Tourism Administration mascot "Oh! Bear," and Siraya's own mascot "Greybear." The "Fengtian Divine Drum Troupe" opened the event with thunderous drumming, while the fully costumed "Taiwan Armor Warrior Team" joined the procession. Winding through the mountain town's streets, the parade blended centuries-old faith traditions with contemporary IP creativity and drew large crowds of visitors who stopped to take photos. To let attendees sample local flavors, organizers offered Baihe's signature lotus seed popsicles and Guanziling's mushroom tea eggs as refreshments along the route. At the finish line, they served the renowned Mango Shaved Ice from Yujing's Youjian Ice Shop, allowing visitors to enjoy the festivities while savoring Siraya's warm hospitality through its local cuisine.

Director Hsu Chu-Lung of the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Administration, MOTC, noted that the Siraya region is rich in both cultural and natural resources. Guanziling is home to internationally renowned "mud hot springs," which pair perfectly with unforgettable "barrel chicken" for a quintessential summer treat. Together with its annual Fudo Myoo-themed events, it is an ideal choice for a relaxing summer getaway. Partner accommodations are now offering a special "Hot Spring 2+1" package, along with an immersive half-day tour featuring the Dongshan 175 Coffee Road (regular price NT$ 2,500, special price NT$ 1,299). Everyone is invited to make the most of summer by visiting Guanziling, traveling at a slower pace, savoring the mountain town's cuisine, and creating midsummer memories amid world-class mud hot springs, local history, and culture!
