Recently, pink shower trees are blooming at Damujiang Plaza in Xinhua District, Tainan. The flowers are hailed as “Thai cherry blossoms.” Gliricidia trees are also growing beautiful flowers in the back of the historical Wude Hall. Wude Hall was built with wood and bricks during the Japanese Occupation, mainly cedar wood. Its three-layer roof looks unique no matter looking from the front or the back. Many visitors come here to take photos. The pink petals of Gliricidia, when caressed by winds, fall onto pavements and make them look like pink carpets. What a graceful scene this is.
