To strengthen tourism safety awareness and concept of epidemic prevention, Siraya National Scenic Area Administration Tourism Bureau, MOTC invited local public department, Greater Siraya Tourism Area Alliance sign 2021 Tourism Safety and Epidemic Prevention Promotion together on 17th March 2021, “Government, industries, and people work together” to be the propaganda purpose, build a high-quality and safe tourism environment in Greater Siraya Area.
Since 2017, Tourism Bureau, MOTC scheduled as “tourism safety promotion week” on every third week in March, in order to prevent accidents from tourism, the tourism environment in Taiwan has been strengthened in accordance with the six aspects of food safety, accommodation safety, traffic safety, environmental safety, shopping safety, and entertainment safety. Siraya National Scenic Area Administration held tourism safety and epidemic prevention promotion in tourism safety promotion week, invite public and private departments to build safe, easeful, and happy travel environment. In this petition, we also arrange gender equality disseminate, CPR, AED basic life support, let local department, industries create gender friendly environment, familiar with CPR and AED, to improve emergency response and rescue capabilities; in addition, specially invite Tainan City Government Fire Bureau to come to promote fire prevention knowledge, promote residential fire alarms, and use residential fire alarms to successfully warn, to reduce the occurrence of major disasters.
The director of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration said everyone has responsibility for tourism safety, we held tourism safety awareness and concept of epidemic prevention this year, follow-up will also conduct training courses or drills on themes such as campus promotion, basic life support, water area rescue, outdoor recreation first aid, fire and earthquake safety, and large-scale event safety, to strengthen the tourism safety education and publicity in the jurisdiction, enhance the self-control of tourism safety and improve the emergency rescue mechanism of the industries, and fulfill the social responsibility for tourism safety together, actively create a safe tourism environment and achieve the safety goal of tourism "happy travel and safe return".
