Siraya National Scenic Area Administration Tourism Bureau, MOTC held “children fun travels”Parent-child duathlon activity on 24th April (Saturday) at Guantian Visitor Center, combined the most popular children's push bike and parent-child walking to form a duathlon parent-child activity, let visitors to spend a happy holiday parent-child time；in addition to the elementary group children’s scooter project for the first time this year, which attracted a total of 300 groups of parents and children to sign up for participation, arranged the shuttle bus between Longtian Station and Guantian Visitor Center more intimately to facilitate the people participating in the event to travel to the event venue. Siraya Administration hoped to organize the duathlon fun races, not only can train children’s physical fitness, but also cultivate sportsman’s spirit, it also allows each child to enter the field of leisure sports with their parents in the joy, and enhance the interaction between parents and children.

The event officially started after the director of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration and others VIPs waved their flags, parents accompany their children to complete the 200-meters duathlon fun races, specially arranged the "Pirate" Devil level on the track to increase the overall fun of the race; after completing duathlon parent-child fun races, participated children could receive event commemorative T-shirts, cool towels, coupons, event-themed masks, finish medals, certificate of completion, and commemorative photos taken by a dedicated person on site, etc. It also allowed adults and children to spend a happy holiday time. Nearly 1,000 people come in at the event today, parents were also very hard-working to cheer for their children by the track, captured every joyful scene. The little players were also attracted by their focused and lovely cute appearance on the court.

In addition to the parent-child duathlon fun races, the grassland area is also open to the general public for free, Siraya Administration had carefully arranged a number of activities, included parent-child interactive park, old children toys, creative balloon master, happy bubble experience, parent-child hand-made DIY, etc. Special stage performances such as the YOYO family, Happy Bird Story Theater, Clown Magic Show, and popular KOL Dragon LIVE SHOW are also invited to increase the richness and fun of the event, and attract many people to watch and experience, and the scene is extremely lively.

The director of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration said, after duathlon parent-child activities were first launched last year, they have been loved by the public. Therefore, the number of teams registered this year has increased to 300 groups, and they have also been included in the elementary scooter groups for the first time, so that more children can participate in this activity. After the event started for registration, it was full of groups in 3 days, some people came from New Taipei City, it is obvious that people value and cherish every time spent with parents and children. In addition, through the surrounding market and stage activities, people who have not participated in the races can come to the Guantian Visitor Center to experience the atmosphere of the scene.
