Siraya National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Bureau MOTC combine Tainan Municipal Guantian District Guantian Elementary School to hold “Guantian elementary school roam Siraya” cycling graduation season activity, to understand Chianan Irrigation Channel through bike, let teachers and students experience a unique Siraya tour. Because of the influence of epidemic, the riding experience has been postponed, the epidemic gradually relieved now, so we specially plan this commemorative and educational cycling graduation season activity to the students at the season when water caltrop is abundant.
Tainan Municipal Guantian District Guantian Elementary School is located near Siraya National Scenic Area Guantian Visitor, it’s a school which major nature education, the director of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration and the principal of Tainan Municipal Guantian District Guantian Elementary School lead 40 teachers and students to ride a bike from Guantian Visitor to Chianan Irrigation Channel, the view of the road happens to be golden rice fields and water caltrop fields in the harvest season, this route is also a part of “Lingbo Guantian Route”, hope to let students who will graduate next year to understand their own hometown through the cycling graduation season activity.
The director of Siraya National Scenic Area Administration said, it was postponed due to the epidemic, but it’s the time for water caltrop harvest season, different views with different feelings along the way, hope the students can understand the beauty of Guantian through experience the cycling way and commentary, furthermore, proud of the people of Guantian and wish these students have a bright future, and bring future classmates and friends to know their hometown in the future.
