As the typhoon may hit Taiwan later this week, visitors are advised to suspend all outdoor activities, such as playing along beaches, fishing, river-tracing, and mountain-climbing. The Administration would also like to ask the public to stay away from restricted danger zones and abide by all emergency measures if police or coast-guard officers require so. In all, safety first! Please be sure of your own safety. Siraya National Scenic Area Administration hope the best for you!

Guanziling draws visitors with landscape installation art

Since it was launched last year, “Happiness under Street Lights,” an artistic installation at Guanziling’s Lingding Park, has become a must-visit for many lovebirds. This year the installation has even been upscaled. Other than the trademark romantic shade of love projected on the giant book, “Love in Guanziling” (a song) will be played as soon as visitors approach the installation, and the musical notes start to shine. With these fascinating details, Happiness under Street Lights is becoming a highly popular scenic spot, even for general visitors.

Today, as many as 115 butterfly species can be seen in the area.
